Three people will face ACT Magistrates court over unrelated drink driving and drug offences after being arrested during the Canberra Day long weekend.

The Canberra Day long weekend has kicked off and ACT Policing have been kept busy with three people charged on Saturday with unrelated serious driving and drug offences.
A 45-year-old Dunlop man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday after he was caught drink driving and found with 18 cannabis plants in his home.
Police allege at 3.30pm on Saturday officers responded to reported disturbance at a residence in Dunlop where they found the driveway littered with broken glass.
Shortly after the defendant allegedly drove to the residence and refused to take a breath test.
He was arrested and taken into custody where police allege he blew a BAC reading of 0.166 and was issued with a 90-day immediate suspension notice.
His residence was searched and officers allege they found 18 cannabis plants being grown inside and outside using a hydroponic cultivation and temperature control system.
He has been charged with drink driving and cultivating a controlled plant.
A 40-year-old Karabar NSW woman will face court on Monday after police allege she had over $7,000 worth of methamphetamine in her handbag when she handed herself in to police.
At 7pm on Saturday the woman attended the City Police Station after failing to appear at court for a separate matter on March 1.
Police allege they found 7.9 grams of a substances suspected to be methamphetamine, which police say has an estimated street value of $7000.
She has been charged with possessing a drug of dependence.
A 20-year-old Narrabundah man who has never held a drivers licence was allegedly nabbed by police with a BAC of 0.161.
Police allege at 8.15pm Saturday officers on patrol in Hackett observed the man exiting the driver’s seat of a black Range Rover Evoque while carrying an alcoholic drink in hand.
After blowing the high blood alcohol reading police allege a search found the man had never held a drivers licence.
He was given a 90 day immediate suspension notice which bans him from applying to get a licence.
He will face court on Monday charged with level four drink driving and driving unlicensed.
