A hearing date has been set for a Convoy to Canberra protester who was caught with a loaded rifle in his tent.
Western Australian man James Greer, 44, is facing charges of possessing an unauthorised weapon and possessing ammunition.
Mr Greer was arrested in early February after police allegedly found a loaded modified rifle in his car during an operation to move protesters out of illegal campsites at the Patrick White Lawns, Parkes.
The defendant is believed to be a main organiser of the Convoy to Canberra protests, which saw thousands of people flock to the Nation’s capital to protest vaccine mandates.
Mr Greer will remain on bail until he reappears at the ACT Magistrates Court on November 11.
