Connor Manns: attempted murder case delayed
The case of a man charged with attempted murder following an alleged shooting in Casey last year has been adjourned.

A man charged with attempted murder over an alleged shooting in Casey last year has had his pre-hearing mention postponed.
Connor Manns, 23, is charged with attempted murder, discharging loaded arms, ride/drive motor vehicle without consent, possessing a number plate calculated to deceive, attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm and two counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.
Mr Manns has been in custody since he was arrested on November 22 last year.
The defendant did not appear in court on Wednesday when his lawyer asked for a week-long adjournment which was granted by Magistrate Lisbeth Campbell.
Due to the seriousness of his alleged crimes Mr Manns case will likely be committed to the ACT Supreme court.
Police allege Manns fired a gun at a man several times from a stolen car at 4:30am on November 21 at the intersection of Whitrod Ave and Plimsoll Drive in Casey.
Mr Manns was arrested following a search warrant at a residence in O’Connor on November 22.
He will face court for a pre-hearing mention on April 26.
