An alleged suburban drug dealer has faced court for the first time more than two weeks after going on the run following a police raid at his house.
Ryan Wolfgang Erntner, 27, of Banks, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday after being arrested and refused bail on Saturday.
Erntner did not apply for bail in court on Monday, which was formally refused.
Police raided his home on January 5, finding meth, cannabis and $6000 in allegedly tainted cash, but Erntner was not at home.
Police also allege Erntner was pulled over during a roadside stop in Colquhoun Street, Kambah, last Wednesday but took off after testing positive and after being arrested over the earlier raid on his house.
Erntner was on the loose for five more days, after speeding off in his car, which police say was spotted driving “at speed in a dangerous manner” along Drakeford Dr in Tuggeranong.
He was finally arrested on Saturday night after police spotted the car parked at a hotel in Curtin, and found Erntner inside.
The raid saw police charge Erntner with trafficking methamphetamine and cannabis, possessing proceeds of crime and possessing methamphetamine.
His alleged escapades also saw him charged with escaping arrest and failing to stop.
He also appeared in court yesterday on an unrelated, earlier drug driving charge.
He is yet to enter pleas.
Erntner, who blew kisses and winked to his partner in the public gallery of the court on Monday, will reappear on February 4.
