Evans was arrested on Saturday following a search warrant at his home.

During the warrant ACT Policing officers seized 28 grams of a white powder suspected to be cocaine, $1700 in cash, prohibited fireworks and mobile phones.

A statement from police confirmed the search warrant on Mr Evan’s residence was “part of an ongoing investigation by ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis into outlaw motorcycle gang drug distribution in the ACT and the surrounding region”.

According to the statement of facts tendered to the ACT Magistrates Court, Evans admitted he was a heavy user of cocaine.

He “made full admissions” to the possession of cocaine but told police it was for his own use.

The statement said “the defendant would not disclose if he had sold cocaine or whom he had bought the cocaine from.”
