A 29-year-old man has been charged with domestic-violence murder after Cheryl Davidson’s body was found at Gunnedah during a welfare check on Friday.
Callan Davidson, whose address is listed at Gunnedah Tourist Caravan Park at Henry St, was charged on Friday night – hours after Oxley police were called to the property about 8.20am following reports of concern for her welfare.
A crime scene has been established and will undergo forensic examination.
Davidson was charged with murder (domestic violence) and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday when the case was subsequently adjourned to Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
An order was made in court to alert NSW Justice Health to mental health issues that should be assessed for Davidson.
