It will come as a shock to many that police attended Jack Style Thai just after midday on Tuesday and arrested Mr Disadee.
Police allege the 54-year-old local sexually touched two 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man.
Police launched an investigation in July and officers subsequently spoke to another 17-year-old and a 19-year-old. Mr Disadee was taken to Southern Highlands Police Station on Tuesday.
He was charged with one count of assault with act of indecency and eight counts of aggravated sexual touching of another person.
According to court documents, police allege the offences occurred between 2018 and 2022, and involved Mr Disadee allegedly trying to kiss one teen and thrusting his groin against an alleged victim’s clothed buttocks.
The owner of Jack Style Thai appeared in Picton Local Court on Wednesday, where he was granted conditional bail to appear in Moss Vale Court on October 11.
Court documents state Mr Disadee has lived in Australia for 20 years and has no prior criminal charges.
“[He] has strong community ties to this area,” the papers state.
“The prosecution cases appears to be strong in that multiple victims have come forward with the potential of more in the future.”
Mr Disadee will remain in the community but is required to report daily to police. His case will next appear at Moss Vale Local Court on October 11.
