Man dies at Goulburn police station after arrest, investigation underway
A man in his 50s has died in custody shortly following his arrest in Goulburn. Here’s what we know so far.

NSW Police have launched an investigation after a man in his 50s died in police custody in Goulburn.
The 54-year-old man was arrested at 12pm on Sunday over an alleged aggravated break and enter incident on Hume St Goulburn.
After the man was taken to Goulburn Police Station he complained of chest pain.
Paramedics from NSW Ambulance were called and the man collapsed soon after.
He was administered CPR however he could not be revived.
The Murray River Police District will conduct a critical incident investigation into the death.
Following this, the investigation will independently reviewed by the Monaro Police District.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
