A man has been charged with multiple counts of having sex with a teen girl in sheds and paddocks to avoid detection a decade ago. Police allege he told the girl he wanted to have a baby.

A man has been charged with multiple counts of having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl in sheds and paddocks to avoid detection a decade ago and assaulting her during their relationship.

The matter of Kieran Edward William Webster, 40, was heard in Picton Court on Tuesday after he was charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl and three counts of assaulting the teen.

Police allege the Queensland resident had sex with a 15-year-old girl three times in 2011 when he was 29 and living close to her childhood home in Buxton.

Police allege all six offences occurred in Buxton, NSW.

Police allege Mr Webster and the victim formed an intimate relationship in May 2011, when they began sneaking around and having sex. According to police allegations, the pair was concerned about anyone finding out, and had sex in sheds and paddocks to prevent detection.

Police allege officers investigated after receiving a call in May 2011 from a concerned member of the public who suspected the relationship, but they were assured nothing was amiss.

On October 9, police claim Mr Webster had penetrative sex with the teen and told her he wanted to have a baby, which she repeatedly told him she wasn’t ready to do until she finished school.

According to police allegations, he manipulated the victim by telling her they could not have a relationship without sex so they could continue their secret relationship.

On October 9, police claim Mr Webster had penetrative sex with the teen and told her he wanted to have a baby, which she repeatedly told him she wasn’t ready to do until she finished school.

According to police allegations, he manipulated the victim by telling her they could not have a relationship without sex so they could continue their secret relationship.

Police also allege Mr Webster assaulted the teen once when she was around 15 and twice when she was around 19. According to police, each assault occurred in Buxton when both parties were living in the town.

The court heard he was arrested on February 1 this year after he flew into Brisbane from New Zealand. The IT student is currently living in Marlborough, Queensland, while he studies and faces the charges before the court.

The matter will return to Picton Court on December 23.
