A Goulburn woman has revealed the moment she found out she was a millionaire in this week’s lotto draw, and what she plans to do with her life-changing winnings.

A Southern Tablelands woman has revealed the moment she found out she was a millionaire in Monday and Wednesday’s Lotto draw, and what she plans to do with her life-changing winnings.
According to a spokesman from The Lott, the Goulburn local texted her husband – who had her ticket – to check the app, after hearing that someone from the area had won.
“A few moments later, I received a call from him, and the first thing he said was, ‘Hello, Miss lottery winner! How does it feel to be a millionaire?’ she said.
“I was so shocked. I said to him, ‘No way! You’re kidding me!’. Once he convinced me it was real, I started crying, my heart was racing, and my stomach was in knots.
“Last night, I cried and cried and cried – all happy tears!
“These kinds of things don’t happen to us. It’s just incredible.”
The local said she had a cup of tea to celebrate and will “do something big” once the money is in her account.
“This changes everything for us! It’ll allow us to relax and take it slow,” she said.
“We haven’t done much travel, so we will be doing that! We’re going to live our lives to the fullest.
“What a feeling! I can’t believe this has happened.”
Her winning entry was purchased at newsXpress, 217 Auburn St, Goulburn on Monday.
Owner John Stein said he was ecstatic to hear a local customer had won big.
“How fantastic is that, and she’s a local, so we’re even more thrilled,” Mr Stein said.
“Hopefully, our winner truly enjoys her million-dollar windfall. We’d love to send her our very best wishes.
“Big wins generate so much positivity, so we’re just waiting for our next big one!”
The woman was one of two people who won in Monday and Wednesday’s Lotto draw across Australia – both from NSW.
