Three coffins stolen from shop at Artillery Cres in Seven Hills

POLICE are investigating stolen coffins after three were stolen from Blacktown City Funerals at Artillery Cres on Friday.

SEVEN HILLS

Police are investigating stolen coffins after three were stolen from Blacktown City Funerals at Artillery Cres on Friday. The thieves gained entry to the premise at about 3pm and stole the coffins that were stored there. No other property was stolen.

DOONSIDE

A man was seen to expose his genitalia and touch himself inappropriately after driving a truck to a business on the Great Western highway on Thursday about 5pm. The man is described as caucasian, in his late 50s, about 155cm tall, solid build, grey shoulder-length hair and beard, black shirt, dark shorts and thongs. He was driving a Volvo truck. Police are investigating the wilful and indecent exposure and are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Blacktown police.

SEVEN HILLS

A man and woman was assaulted and threatened during an armed robbery at Lucas Rd on Saturday. The 24-year-old man was walking with a 21-year-old woman when they were approached by three men at 3am. The man was punched in the face and the thieves ran away. The three offenders were described as being of caucasian appearance, thin and wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. One of the men approached the female and demanded her mobile phone. The woman walked away from the group and quickly tried to call police. One of the attackers followed her and pulled her handbag from her shoulder. He then produced a knife and told the woman to end the call to police. Another member of the group then punched the man to the face before the trio fled from the scene. Police are investigating.

DOONSIDE

A man has been robbed while delivering a food order to a house at Hill End Rd. Police said a 36-year-old man was delivering the order on Sunday about 10.15pm. As he man reached the end of the driveway he was approached by a man signalling him. The man was described as between 18 and 25 years old, caucasian in appearance, thin build, wearing a cap, white T-shirt and light coloured jeans. As the driver wound down his window, the man punched him to the face and grabbed him by the shirt. He then threatened the driver with a baseball bat before stealing money. He then ran along Hill End Rd, entered the passenger door of a blue hatchback and left the scene. Police are investigating. Anyone with information about this incident are encouraged to contact Blacktown police.

STANHOPE GARDENS

A Quakers Hill woman, 21, was given a criminal infringement notice of $300 for larceny and has been banned from Kmart at Stanhope Village after she allegedly tried to steal toys and clothes from the store on Sunday, September 18 at 1pm. Police allege a woman put the items in a trolley and paid for some of the items in the self service area and attempted to leave the store without paying for some of the other products.

QUAKERS HILL

Several colourbond fences on two properties at Millburn St, were damaged on September 18. Police said a vandal was seen walking along the street about 5.20am when he was kicking fences and yelling. He was described as being of Islander in appearance wearing a dark hoodie jumper, hat, black track pants.
