Sosiua Tonga: Eastern Creek man allegedly assaulted partner Astrid Muller

A man who allegedly assaulted his partner in western Sydney will fight the allegations in court.

A man who has denied assaulting his partner in western Sydney last year.

Sosiua Tonga, 35, faced Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday, charged over the alleged assault of his former partner, Astrid Muller, in August 2019.

Police allege the Eastern Creek man assaulted Ms Muller just before midnight at a premises in Huntingwood.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The matter will return to court in September.
