Raymond Luke: Bidwill man’s child abuse image charges after Moscow tip
A man in his 70s is set to face a court hearing over child abuse material allegations following an Interpol tip-off.

A man in his 70s will face court again next month ahead of a hearing over allegations of sharing child abuse material online.
Raymond Luke, of Bidwill, had his case mentioned in Penrith District Court on Friday with his lawyer appearing on his behalf.
The Crown stated there will need to be a court mention date before the hearing which will be decided at a later date.
He is facing two charges of use carriage service transmit/publish/promote child abuse and three charges of possess/control child abuse material-use carriage service.
Luke will remain on bail until his next appearance on September 20.

A western Sydney man has faced court on Wednesday after he allegedly was found with child abuse material at his home.
Raymond John Luke, 71, of Bidwill, was arrested by the Australian Federal Police on July 29, following a tip-off from Interpol’s Moscow bureau.
Police began investigating Mr Luke after receiving an Interpol referral regarding alleged Australian users of an online child abuse sharing network.
Officers raided the man’s home at 7am today and seized a laptop and two computer towers.
He faces several charges, including using a carriage service to make available child abuse material, three counts of possessing or controlling material obtained through a carriage service, three counts of using a carriage service to access child abuse material and another of using a carriage service to make available/publish/advertise or promote child abuse material.
He was granted bail and appeared at Mt Druitt Local Court today but did not enter a plea to any of the charges.
He will return to court in September.
