A Marayong man who allegedly sexually abused three infants and used them to create child abuse material has been hit with fresh charges.
Bryan Michael Grange, 37, now faces 70 charges after he was arrested by the Australian Federal Police last year after he allegedly tried to buy child pornography online.
Mr Grange was allegedly found with hundreds of thousands of child abuse images and videos at his home when he was arrested in October 2019 following a tip-off from US Homeland Security.
He was initially charged with four offences, including accessing child pornography and possessing child abuse material, however investigators have since served dozens of extra charges.
Shocking details revealed in court documents allege Grange’s offending includes indecently assaulting an infant girl and using her to produce child sex abuse material.
The alleged offending took place over five years, with Grange allegedly filming the assaults for use in the production of child abuse material.
Police further allege Grange raped a second infant girl, and used her to film child abuse material.
In the latest charges, police allege Grange indecently assaulted a third girl and also used her to produce child abuse material.
A raid on the man’s Marayong home last year allegedly uncovered 180,000 images and eight videos of child pornography on a laptop, computer and SD card.
Further material was allegedly found on 16 DVDs, which police alleged were obtained online.
He also faces several charges of using the internet to access child pornography between July 2015 and September 2019.
In total, he faces 37 charges of using a child under 14 for the production of child abuse material.
Grange faces 14 counts of indecently assaulting a person under 16, a further five counts of intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 and another two charges of inciting a person under 10 to commit an indecent act.
He faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted.
He did not apply for bail and will face court again in September.
