Schofields drug bust: Alleged gang member charged with drug supply

Bikie cops stormed a western Sydney home and seized bags of cocaine, wads of cash and gold chains. A 19-year-old was arrested and will face court.

A man who police allege has links to a western Sydney criminal gang and prisons is facing charges.

The 19-year-old Schofields man was charged following long-running investigations by Strike Force Raptor into the alleged criminal group.

Police allege the gang was involved in public acts of violence and drug supply.

Officers raided a home in Deguara St, Schofields at 9.15am on Wednesday, where they seized a substance believed to be cocaine as well as wads of cash, jewellery, clothing and boxes of sneakers.

The man faces a string of charges, including, commercial drug supply, dealing with financial proceeds of crime and property proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and is expected to face Blacktown Local Court on Thursday.
