Policeman bitten during fast-food arrest where man threw food, drank hand sanitiser
A police officer has been taken to hospital after being bitten on the arm during an arrest at a fast-food outlet in Minchinbury.

A policeman is being treated at hospital after allegedly being bitten during an arrest at a fast food outlet in Minchinbury today.
Police said officers were called to a disturbance at a McDonald’s on the Great Western Highway at about 6am.
It was reported the man was behaving erratically, drinking hand sanitiser and throwing food.
When officers attempted to arrest the man, a 22-year-old probationary constable was allegedly bitten on the right arm.
The man was arrested and is being assessed at hospital.
The policeman suffering bite wound is being treated at hospital while another officer is being treated for cuts.
