Police appeal for info on Tregear shooting death of Adnan Salameh
Almost nine months after a 30-year-old man was shot dead during a violent home invasion in Mt Druitt, police want to finally find answers for his grieving family.

Police are appealing for information from the public as the investigation into an early morning shooting in Sydney’s west last year.
Emergency services rushed to a Rymill St home at Tregear about 2.30am on November 30 to reports the home had been broken into.
Adnan Salameh, 30, was found at the scene suffering severe gunshot wounds and despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad began investigating under Strike Force Chatelaine.
Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, said police were focused on finding the people responsible for Mr Adnan’s death.
“Strike Force Chatelaine detectives are determined to locate those involved in Adnan’s murder after he was violently gunned down inside his own home,” Det-Supt Doherty said.
“Police are confident that someone in the community has information that may be of assistance to investigators, and we encourage those people to come forward.
“After nine months of unanswered questions, officers hope to be able to provide some answers to Adnan’s family,” Det Supt Doherty said.
Investigations under Strike Force Chatelaine are continuing.
