A former Sydney MMA fighter has been named as one of four men allegedly involved in a prison fight against another man in custody. Here is the latest from court.

A former MMA champion fighter is one of four men alleged to have ganged up on one man while in custody at a western Sydney prison.
Jake Treyvaud, 22, Trevor Leal, 27, Andrew Beer, 22, and Kheenan Powell, 27, are each charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after an alleged prison fight against one prisoner at Parklea Correctional Centre on December 5, 2022.
All four men are in custody.
They all had their matters mentioned in Blacktown Local Court on Monday with Powell the only one to face the court.
He, Beer and Treyvaud have all pleaded not guilty, while Leal has not entered a plea.
Treyvaud is a former MMA fighter and champion junior wrestler who formerly trained with UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, but has fronted multiple courts since 2021.
Treyvaud, Beer and Powell will return to Blacktown Local Court on August 22, while Leal will return on July 29.
