Mt Druitt: Teliea and Shania Dickson plead not guilty to alleged assault of two high school girls

A pair of sisters intend to fight the charges against the alleged assault of two high school girls in western Sydney.

Two western Sydney sisters who are alleged to have assaulted two teens as they left school are intending to fight the charges.

Mt Druitt’s Teliea Dickson, 21, faced Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday when she pleaded not guilty to assaulting a school student occasioning actual bodily harm, and stalk or intimidate to cause fear of physical or mental harm.

Documents tendered to the court allege Dickson approached and assaulted a teenage girl as she was leaving a school in Dharruk on the afternoon of February 12.

It’s alleged as well that two days before the assault, between 12.10am and 12.29am, Dickson intimidated a different girl with the intention to cause the victim to fear harm would come to her.

Dickson faced Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday, where she pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Dickson will return to face the same court on April 16 and remains on bail.

The court heard that Dickson’s younger sister, Shania Dickson, was a co-accused in the incident.

Shania appeared in the same court on Tuesday March 4, and faces charges including assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assaulting a school student occasioning actual bodily harm.

Documents tendered to the court state Shania had allegedly assaulted a different teenage girl as she was leaving school, at the same time as Teliea’s alleged assault.

Shania has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains on bail.

She will return to the same court on March 25 for her hearing.
