Missing man Tae Chon, 80, last seen leaving Blacktown home at Reservoir Rd

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to find an elderly man who has been missing from Blacktown since Tuesday.

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to find an elderly man who has been missing from Blacktown since Tuesday.

Tae Chon, 80, was last seen on Tuesday (August 2) about 10.30am when he left his home on Reservoir Rd, Blacktown, in a Holden Commodore.

Blacktown police were notified after he couldn’t be contacted by family.

Despite extensive inquiries, Mr Chon has not been found but he is believed to be in the Hornsby area.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare because his disappearance is out of character.

He also requires medication for medical issues.

Mr Chon is of Asian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build and has brown eyes.

He was seen wearing a black thick jumper, gold frame glasses and a black watch.

The car he was driving is described as a burgundy 2002 Holden Commodore with NSW registration CB5 0TS’.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
