Man and two children hurt in Hebersham crash
A man and two children have been taken to hospital after their family’s van crashed into a tree in Hebersham this afternoon.
Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Hebersham this afternoon.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said two children and one adult were hurt in the crash on Jersey Rd at 1pm on Friday, April 26.
A CareFlight spokeswoman said two adults and four children were travelling in a van when it hit a tree.
It is understood two people, including the driver, became trapped and were later freed by CareFlight crews.
The driver, aged in his 50s, was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with leg and chest injuries.
The man’s daughter, 11, was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead with facial injuries in a serious but stable condition.
A second child was also taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for treatment.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at Heber Park, about 100 metres away from the incident.
Crews had to remove a door from the van to access those trapped.
NSW Fire and Rescue and police were also at the scene.
