A former soldier was camera shy on Friday when he pleaded not guilty to an alleged rape following an ANZAC Day drinking session.
Glenn Robinson, 35, of Warrimoo, pleaded not guilty to the charges of aggravated sexual assault in company with other person and four counts of sexual intercourse without consent at Penrith Local Court.
Police allege Robinson and a friend were drinking at The Fiddler in Rouse Hill on ANZAC Day last year when they invited a woman to a house in Riverstone where they allegedly raped her.
On Friday, five of the ten charges initially laid on Robinson were dismissed. The 35-year-old pleaded not guilty to the remaining five and was committed to stand trial.
Outside court, Robinson ran from waiting media.
He remains on bail and will be arraigned at Penrith District Court on March 18.
