Former school teacher Steven Williams, 65, will defend allegations he sexually touched a student at a western Sydney school.
The 65-year-old was arrested earlier this month after detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad’s North West Metropolitian Unit received reports of a female student who was allegedly touched by a male teacher.
He was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with five counts of intentionally sexually touching a child.
Mr Williams did not appear in Blacktown Local Court on Monday and his lawyer pleaded not guilty to all charges on his behalf.
It is alleged the student was aged between 10 and 11 when she was sexually touched on several occasions while at the school.
The ex-school teacher is under strict bail conditions and is set to appear in Blacktown court on September 13.
