Food trucks to roll into Blacktown Civic Plaza for Olympic Games screening
DELICIOUS burgers, Thai cuisine, gozleme and beef and pork ribs will be on offer for punters watching the Olympics on the big screen in Blacktown on the weekend.

BLACKTOWN’s Civic Plaza will be transformed into an Olympic haven with food trucks from Saturday.
The council is organising a foodie and sports lovers’ dream, combining the Olympic Games with food trucks until August 21.
Free of charge, visitors can come together to watch the Olympic action live from Rio on the big screen and celebrate with friends.
The screen will be on from 8.30am — 10pm, with the first of the food trucks arriving at 11am.
Char Char food truck will be whetting visitors’ appetites on Saturday and Sunday with their crowd pleasing, finger-licking, mouth-watering fare. There will also be Thai cuisine, gozleme and G-Dup Burgers.
Made with Char Char’s secret family BULU basting, the truck’s beef and pork ribs are sure to be a hit — just don’t ask for the recipe.
With a constantly evolving menu, the truck will also be unveiling tasty new additions including the nacho burger, mac ‘n’ cheese loaded fries and the Skittles shake.
Char Char will be at Civic Plaza on Flushcombe Rd from 11am ‘til late on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
Trinhy’s Vietnamese Food truck will be rolling in on Monday, serving traditional and tasty Vietnamese cuisine.
