A former fast food manager has admitted to defrauding the company she worked for of close to $1 million.
Kim Maree Jones, 57, of Bligh Park, appeared in Mt Druitt Local Court today, pleading guilty to one count of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
Police say Jones worked as the general manager of Anmasal Pty Ltd and managed three fast food franchises in western Sydney between 2005 and 2019 when she deposited $827,169 into her personal bank account.
Documents reveal Jones used her access to an online banking platform with the Commonwealth Bank to make 163 unauthorised transfers from the business accounts of Anmasal Pty Ltd.
Police say the transactions took place over the course of 14 years before they were discovered and reported to Mt Druitt police earlier this year.
Jones was arrested at a licensed venue in Windsor on July 5.
She is expected to face court again on September 18 when it will be decided if the matter remains in the local court.
