Elara Village Shopping Centre, Marsden Park set to open

A new shopping centre is receiving its finishing touches as the full list of retails has been revealed. Take a look inside.

A new shopping centre is set to open its doors later this month.

Elara Village Shopping Centre in Marsden Park will be open to the public from Wednesday November 24.

The centre is set to create more than 250 new jobs and provide a range of fresh food outlets, retail and services in the heart of Marsden Park.

Mark Avery, Managing Director of Eildon Capital Group, owners of the new Elara Village Shopping Centre, said: “Following this year’s lengthy lockdown and COVID-19 closures, the opening of the Elara Village Shopping Centre will create a perfect place for the community to shop and reconnect locally with their family and friends.

Construction on the Elara Village Shopping Centre is set to be completed in the coming days, with the centre to open on November 24.

“The town plaza area along with casual dining and key services, the medical precinct, Good Start Early Learning and the Blacktown City Council’s Marsden Park Neighbourhood Centre will provide a much needed community hub within Elara Marsden Park.”

Last month, MP for Londonderry, Prue Car and Blacktown City Mayor, Tony Bleasdale went on a tour of the under construction shopping centre.

“Elara Village Shopping Centre will be a terrific community centre for local families,” Ms Car said.

Mayor Tony Bleasdale said, “The new Marsden Park Neighbourhood Centre within Elara Village is a state-of-the-art facility and will provide residents with a new place to meet and take part in various activities.”
