The best hairdresser in the Blacktown area has been revealed following a public vote.

After many nominations and votes in the NewsLocal competition, the winner has been announced as Harry Fatseas, from Epiphany Hairdressers in Seven Hills.

Harry has been working as a hairdresser in the area for more than 20 years and is the owner of Epiphany Haidressers. We spoke to Harry to hear from the ecstatic winner on the secret to his success.

“Firstly I am honoured to have been nominated by the public for being the best hairdresser.

“Thank you to everyone who voted for me,” he said.

“In these 20 years I have met many clients who have become my good friends and family and have been loyal to me.

“My clients new and old have trust in me with their hair because I have many years of knowledge and experience to understand exactly what someone wants.

“Most of my clients will tell me ‘Harry do what you think is right’. I always love to make them smile, joke with them, make them feel comfortable and welcome.”

He added: “Over the years I have developed my own techniques on how I do colours, foils and cuts that stand out.

“I love what I do because it makes me feel part of the community and speaking from my heart my clients make me feel special and appreciated. I really do love being part of their lives, there is more to hairdressing than just doing hair.”

Harry also has a little secret – he apparently serves the best coffee too!

“My clients say I serve the best coffee in Blacktown,” said Harry.

Harry also gave a special mention to Maria, his assistant hairdresser describing her as “a big asset to my business”.

“She is an amazing worker who has helped me get though recent tough times in business during Covid and is part of Epiphany Hairdressers.”
