Doonside home invasion: Three people stabbed at Cameron St home

Four teenagers have been charged over their alleged involvement in the stabbing of three peoplein a horrifying home invasion in western Sydney. A neighbour said the home was often a hub of youth activity and parties.

Four teenagers allegedly involved in a horrifying home invasion in western Sydney will appear before a Children’s Court today.

Emergency services were called to a Cameron St, Doonside home just before 2:30am on Tuesday following reports of a home invasion.

Police found three people at the scene – two men, aged 19 and 44, and a 35 year old woman – suffering stab wounds.

Officers were told four people armed with knives broke into the house and attacked the teenager. The two adults were injured coming to his aid.

The three people were treated by paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

As police launched an investigation, officers went to a crash on McCulloch Rd where a car was found abandoned.

With help from the dog unit, four teenage boys were arrested nearby on Love St.

The teens – three aged 16 and a 14-year-old – were taken to Blacktown police station and charged.

The 16-year-olds were charged with special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-wound, and be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.

The 14-year-old boy was charged with special aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-wound, and drive conveyance taken without consent of owner.

A neighbour, who did not wish to be named, told the Blacktown Advocate the home was a hub of youth activity and had frequent parties.

The home is located about 20m from a nearby public school on a quiet residential street.
