A motorcyclist who allegedly reached the alarming speed of 250km/h during a late night joy ride on the M7 Motorway has been mentioned in court.
Conor Bradley, 21, of Jordan Springs, has been charged with drive recklessly, furiously or at a speed or manner dangerous and exceed speed over 45/km/h for his alleged wild ride during the early hours of December 12.
About 1.30am officers attached to Mt Druitt Highway Patrol allegedly saw Bradley riding a white Kawasaki ZX1000R which was travelling at 161km/h in an 100km/h zone.
Police officers followed the bike and allegedly observed it reach a speed of 250 km/h between Dean Park and Kings Park.
The bike was later stopped on the Sunnyholt Rd offramp where Bradley was charged.
In Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday, Bradley’s lawyer appeared on his client’s behalf and was granted a two week adjournment. No pleas have been entered.
