A teenage motorcycle rider has been rushed to hospital with multiple injuries after a crash involving a bus in Sydney’s west on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Sunnyholt Rd and Turner St, in Blacktown, about 1.35pm.
A Transport for NSW spokesperson said the motorcyclist passed a bus and then lost control and crashed into a guard rail.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a male in his late teens had suffered multiple injuries and had been taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
Traffic in both directions of the transit lane of Sunnyholt Rd and Turner St has been affected, with some buses forced to take alternative routes.
