A man has been charged after allegedly performing sexual acts in public several times in Sydney’s west, including near a bus stop and a playground filled with children.
Amanpreet Singh, 28, was refused bail when he faced Blacktown Local on Wednesday, charged with four counts of carrying out a sexual act with another without consent.
In a statement, NSW Police said they had received a report on November 2 alleging a man was committing a sexual act in a parked blue Toyota Yaris near a Blacktown bus stop, while a 17-year-old girl was waiting for a bus.
When the girl was at the same bus stop more than three weeks later, on November 25, she allegedly encountered the same man performing a sexual act in a white Toyota Camry.
Police allege the man was Singh, who is also accused of committing a sexual act in a car while following two women in Lalor Park on November 22.
Two days after that, he is further accused of committing a sexual act in bushes near a playground in Blacktown.
Police said the playground was filled with children and parents at the time.
Following a police investigation, officers attended a house on Peter St, Blacktown, and arrested Singh on Tuesday afternoon.
Having been refused bail, he is due back in court on December 5.
