Two high-ranking Finks bikies have been charged following an investigation into a fire at a tattoo parlour earlier this year, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown on June 22 around 1.10am following reports of a fire spreading from the rear of a tattoo parlour.
Fire crews put out the flames and police established a crime scene.
Strike Force Hollier was created and in September police released CCTV of the incident.
The CCTV showed a man produce a can of liquid which he threw at the building before attempting to ignite it, resulting in a huge fireball.
The men are then seen running from the scene as the fire spreads, leaving a jerry can behind.
CCTV of two men wearing face coverings, gloves and hooded jumpers, one of which had a distinctive ‘CK’ on the back, was also released.
Following investigations, Raptor cops arrested a 29-year-old and a 39-year-old at properties in Box Hill and Castle Hill just after 8am on Thursday.
Police alleged both men are high-ranking Finks members.
They were taken to Castle Hill Police Station and charged with knowingly and recklessly direct criminal group assist crime, and damage property by fire (greater than $15,000).
Both men were granted conditional bail at Parramatta Court on Thursday with their matters set to return to the same court on Thursday November 18.
