Ashbury Terraces: Coronation property’s plan to gentrify Ashfield with 127 homes

The inner west is set to have another urban facelift after one of Australia's biggest developers started construction on a sprawling project that they believe heralds a new standard of “residential excellence” in Sydney.
Ashbury Terraces, a new $500m mega project is the latest development in the gentrification of Sydney’s inner west – which will see 127 homes; including 68 luxury townhouses and 59 premium apartments, as well as three exclusive penthouses.
Covering over 16,000 square meters, the project will be located on Milton St, Ashbury, and looks to “redesign” the way people view inner city living while also staying true to the areas significant history by Surrounding itself in a heritage conservation area.
Coronation Property’s managing director Joseph Nahas said the development would be finished by mid-2025.
“Buyers are seeing value in larger terrace style homes offering communal amenities and oversized backyards,” he said.
“We believe that our approach to Ashbury Terraces will not only enhance the physical environment but also enrich the lives of those who will call it home.”
“In an area that is predominantly freestanding houses, the mix of terraces and apartments has provided more opportunities for buyers.”
The inner west has seen over a billion dollars in developments with residents in Leichhardt, Marrickville and Erskineville all witnessing major projects that will see nearly 2000 new apartments and house built over the coming years.
With Ashbury Terraces being the latest to join the inner west make over, Mr Nahas said Coronation was excited to partake in building up the community.
