A crowd-funding page created by a controversial neo-Nazi has raised more than $27,000 in eight days to help “create a home for white people in Australia”.
The Herald Sun has uncovered a fundraising page on GiveSendGo created by controversial neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell.
“Tyrannical Australian government does everything in its power to silence and threaten the activists, community members and families of those who advocate for our folk,” the fundraiser reads.
Sewell and Jacob Hearsant can be seen in a photo posted in the fundraiser; while kids, women and other men had faces blurred.
Funds will be used for “pressing legal matters” as well as “basic living expenses” so Sewell can “transition into a fulltime role”.
The fundraiser claimed the money raised would go towards every “state and branch” to “improve their respective operations” and “pressing legal matters”.
“The majority remainder of the money will be saved towards our community land project which the government has previously tried to shut down,” the fundraiser states.
Signed by Sewell, the fundraiser website said the “White Australia” campaign was ongoing and needed to be relaunched because “the Anti-White government” had requested in the past to “stop helping white people raise money for white people”.
One anonymous person — who donated $5000 to the fundraiser — said “we will fight and we will win”.
A post showed an Emma Boros-Kidd donated $2000, thanking the organisers.
“I give this in support of the people and nation that gave my family political asylum based mostly on good faith. Without it, my parents would have lost their lives — so in their memory and honour, for the future of your and my children, and with heartfelt gratitude and respect on my part, I thank you,” she said.
Donator Lyte gave $1000 saying “keep going strong, Mr. Sewell. For a White Australia, a White America, and the White race”.
Other comments by top donators included Nazi slogans, with one saying “the first man through the breach always gets bloody. You are doing gods work and I hope to be a part of the movement on the near future”.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the fundraiser was not clear whether it had been organised within state borders and the force was not aware of it.
