New footage has emerged of Meghan Markle cuddling her daughter Princess Lilibet as they attended a 4th of July parade.
Prince Harry, 38, was pictured alongside his two-year-old daughter last week at the event close to their home in Montecito, California.
However, in a new video shared by local hotel Rosewood Miramar Beach, owned by a friend of the Sussexes, Meghan can be seen alongside her daughter as they wave to a passers-by.
The clip posted to the hotel’s 93,000 followers on Instagram, shows one car in the parade driving along the road, while those inside waved to parade spectators.
Meghan can be seen crouching on the ground with her arms around Lilibet, who is waving an American flag pinwheel.
After a clip showing the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Lilibet, the video moved on to showcasing the BBQ on offer at the hotel for the celebration.
Other snippets show the beachfront bar, as well as a huge sign reading USA which was covered in balloons.
The video, which is less than a minute long, was shared alongside the caption: “A little Miramar magic for 4th of July!.”
The luxury hotel which posted the video is owned by businessman Rick Caruso, who previously revealed how he had first met the couple back in May 2020 to discuss “charity work” as well as their future plans.
According to The Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since dined at the exclusive hotel, while the Duchess’ ex-husband Trevor also tied the knot at the premises last year.
It comes as Meghan is reportedly shifting away from collaborations with her husband shifting away from collaborations with her husband, Prince Harry, amid a turbulent period in their post-royal careers.
There’s been plenty of speculation about what might come next for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following the axing of their $29 million Spotify deal, doubts about the renewal of their reported $150 million Netflix contract and a flurry of scathing reviews by everyone from a streaming service executive to a top Hollywood agent to Rolling Stone.
According to the UK’s Bella magazine, Meghan is now taking a “step away” from their joint brand to focus on solo projects.
The publication cited the unexpected blow of losing their Spotify deal as a factor in her decision to establish her own separate brand.
Meanwhile, King Charles has met with US President Joe Biden at Windsor Castle for talks on climate change.
The pair sat down for tea in Windsor Castle, before His Majesty showed the US leader an exhibition in the White Drawing Room of items from the Royal Collection relating to the history of the United States of America.
