Charlie Kirk shot dead: Horrifying video and map shows how Trump ally was gunned down

Chilling video has captured the terrifying moment MAGA youth influencer Charlie Kirk was shot at a campus event in Utah, including what appears to be a gunman on a rooftop. Watch the video. Warning: Graphic.

Horrifying footage has emerged showing the moment conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was assassinated in front of his wife and children.

The MAGA activist, speaking at an Utah university event, can be heard starting to answer a question about gun violence when a shot rings out, sending the crowd fleeing in terror.

Mr Kirk is seen slumping down in his seat before security guards race in to retrieve him and bundle him into an SUV.

Meanwhile separate footage shared online appears to show a gunman on a rooftop.

Members of the crowd can be heard screaming and calling for others to get down.

Mr Kirk was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery but could not be saved.

Almost 7000 people had signed a petition calling for the Utah Valley University to stop Mr Kirk’s appearance, arguing his views did not “align with the core values and ideology that Utah State University strives to epitomise”.

The event was Mr Kirk’s first stop of his American Comeback Tour which was scheduled for 15 cities, with more dates expected to be added.

Mr Kirk was speaking at the Utah Valley University, about 65km south of Salt Lake City, shortly after midday when he was hit.

Authorities believe the gunman fired from the top of a building known as the Losee Centre about 200 metres from where Mr Kirk was speaking in a courtyard under a tent in front of a large crowd.

At the shows, he was expected to hold his popular ‘prove me wrong’ segment where he invited people to try stump him on political arguments.

The 31-year-old CEO of Turning Point USA unapologetically courted controversy, sharing his conservative views on YouTube and X.

He formed close relationships with the Trump administration, including the President and his son Donald Junior.

Earlier this year, he began a weekday talk show titled Charlie Kirk today.

The MAGA influencer mobilised young Republicans through rallies and debates and hosted a popular conservative podcast.

Turning Point USA has a presence on more than 3000 college campuses.
