Exclusive: Australian bikie kingpin Mark Buddle’s bride in Northern Cyprus is pregnant with his baby.

Ozge Buddle, nee Kavus, who married the fugitive Comanchero last year in a deal that would secure him citizenship, is living a low-key existence in the coastal town of Iskele, where she will give birth imminently.

The 29-year-old rarely leaves the house she shares with her mother and is said to be “protected” by Buddle’s entourage of close associates and friends.

At the time of their nuptials — on a picturesque pier in the tourist enclave — the outlaw motorcycle group enforcer was on the run from the authorities, while the new Ms Buddle saw the “romantic transaction” as an opportunity to help her struggling family.

“They met through work, she worked for one of his companies,” a source close to the situation said.

“Mr Buddle knew that if he remained married for three years to a Northern Cypriot woman, he would get citizenship and could live in the Turkish-controlled part of Cyprus.

“She is more than seven months pregnant with his baby.

“You only see her occasionally in a car with her mother, she never goes out and is protected and chaperoned by Buddle’s people.”

The first picture of Buddle’s mystery wife shows a seemingly conservative brunette office worker, a far cry from his last partner Mel Ter Wisscha — a promotional model for racy restaurant chain Hooters, who has been enjoying the high life in the wealthy Turkish town of Bodrum, 500 kms away.

Ozge Buddle was born in Famagusta on the east coast of Cyprus, now largely abandoned after the 1974 Turkish invasion.

Her childhood was humble, as the daughter of an administrative council worker.

At the height of the Covid-pandemic, she sought employment as an office worker in Buddle’s real estate agency firm.

“Ozge is very sweet, young, she thinks he’s wonderful, a powerful businessman who knows his mind and is confident and witty,” the source said.

Buddle, 37, moved to the Mediterranean island in 2021, five years after leaving Australia and lying low in countries including Dubai, Iraq and Turkey.

His Northern Cypriot connection was not revealed until he was arrested as part of an multi-agency police sting in July, deported to Turkey, then extradited to Melbourne on drugs charges.

“Mark Buddle lived in Northern Cyprus for around a year after living in some countries like Dubai, his name wasn’t known in Cyprus until he was arrested,” the source added.

“Ozge is really well liked and looked after by locals in the area. Even Buddle was liked and respected.”

Buddle, who came to Northern Cyprus on a tourist visa and without Ms Ter Wisscha and their two children, quickly entrenched himself in the community.

He opened a string of real estate companies and bought property in Girne, a wealthy harbour city, 67 kms from Iskele and a magnet to the rich and famous with its casinos and smart hotels.

He converted three top floor apartments into a luxury $1.78 million penthouse overlooking the Kyrenia mountain range, which he ultimately shared with Ozge Buddle.

Northern Cyprus lawyer Batur Sağlamer, who was guarantor on Buddle’s apartment purchases, reportedly also helped arrange Buddle’s nuptials.

In August, 2021, Buddle obtained a six month “residence permission” from the Ministry of Interior, proving his yearly income exceeded the minimum $15,000.

In February, his residency was extended.

Upon his arrest a few months later, Buddle claimed he was forced to pay bribes to politicians to extend his residence permit but did so willingly, as he wanted to be with his new bride.

Buddle — one of more than 1000 accused criminals ensnared by the AN0M encrypted messaging app secretly run by the FBI — is currently before the courts in Victoria charged with importing and conspiring to import a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug.

If convicted, he faces a maximum term of life imprisonment.

News Corp contacted the lawyer who represented Buddle in Melbourne in August for comment.

Buddle joined the Comanchero OMCG when he was 21, and rose up the ranks after national president Mahmoud “Mick” Hawi was jailed for manslaughter over the death of Hells Angels associate Anthony Zervas at Sydney Airport in 2009.
