Superstar Taylor Swift has built one of the largest and most devoted fanbases.

Widely known as Swifties, these fans know everything about the Blank Space singer.

They know the words to all of her songs, wear friendship bracelets on the daily and have spent thousands of dollars on merchandise.

Here’s who took out the title in the Herald Sun’s search for Australia’s biggest Taylor Swift fan.

Monica Isaacs has travelled far and wide to see her pop icon.

From London to Nashville, the 25-year-old has watched Swift perform at more than 15 concerts.

“I’m travelling to Vancouver in December to see her again and I am seeing her all seven shows in Australia starting next week,” Ms Isaacs said.

“I hand make all my costumes based on previous outfits she’s worn, little inside jokes and album lyrics.

“I’ve been working on them since before her tickets were announced.”

Ms Isaacs said she had been collecting merchandise for more than 15 years with the collection valued at $25,000.

“My love for her began at the very beginning of her career in 2006,” she said.

“I loved her originally because she was young and sang country music.

“Now that I’m older I continue to love her because of her values, how she stands up for what she believes in and how much she loves appreciates her fans.”

Edward Tremethick was so worried he would miss out on tickets to Swift’s Australian leg of the Eras Tour that he flew to Las Vegas to see her perform this year.

“I love Taylor because her music is just so good and each of her albums are so different from the last one,” he said.

“There’s not many artists whose music I connect with as much as Taylor’s.”

The 22-year-old said the megastar’s popularity soared when she started regularly connecting with her fans.

“I can’t think of any other artist who plays games with their fans like Taylor does,” he said.

“Having to solve the vault track titles from her re-recorded albums and her dropping hints all the time ... it’s quite full on, but it makes it so exciting to be a fan of hers, which is why so many people love her..

“She’s clearly captured the hearts of so many Aussies because she’s been touring here so many times.”

The 21-year-old has held the title for the past five years.

“It is so hard to get in the top one per cent but I’m not surprised I made it, I literally play her music all of the time,” she said.

“I just know everything about Taylor Swift ... I’m obsessed with her life and what she does, day to day and who she’s in a relationship with.”

Ms McDonald said she has been a super fan since she was 10 years old and has been to every concert in Melbourne.

“The way she includes her fans and all the Easter eggs and how she drops hints about what she’s about to do, it’s so interactive and anyone can participate and love her,” she said.

Vinoj Mohanachandran’s dedication to the Blank Space singer is second to none.

The 21-year-old has multiple social media fan accounts with nearly 300,000 followers and travelled to Pittsburgh last year to see Swift’s show.

“It was the greatest experience of my life. It was my first time seeing Taylor and words cannot describe how insanely amazing the show was,” he said.

“All I can say is the videos online do not do the show any justice, you just have to experience it in real life.

“It’s impossible to pick a favourite part but the acoustic set where she plays two surprise songs that is unique to every show is a highlight.

“Also, meeting thousands of other fans, trading friendship bracelets and singing our hearts out was such a magical experience.”

Mr Mohanachandran said he misses out on sleep, thinking about his idol.

“I lose sleep every night staying up late in case she announces another surprise project,” he said.

“I know the words to every song, put on my clown wig and analyse every outfit or emoji she uses for Easter eggs.

“I will always be by her side supporting every song and album, especially her rerecordings which are so special to her.”
