A young moped driver has been taken to hospital with “a significant leg injury” after they crashed into a bus on Magnetic Island.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said they were called to a serious traffic crash near the intersection of Arcadia Rd and Magnetic Island Rd in Nelly Bay at 12.10pm Friday.
A person aged in their 20s sustained leg and head injuries, according to a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman.
The person was taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition.
