Police have released CCTV images of a woman they want to speak to in relation some alleged stealing and fraud offences in Townsville.

According to initial investigations, the woman allegedly stole a handbag and other personal items from a shop within an Aitkenvale shopping centre around 11am on August 13.

Following the theft, she allegedly used a bank card from the stolen handbag to make multiple purchases at various locations between 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Anyone who recognises the woman, or who has any information that can assist investigations, is urged to contact police.
