The Danish Royal Household has released a stunning new image of Crown Princess Mary as her 50th birthday celebrations continue.
The image was snapped by photographer Hasse Nielsen for the Financial Times.
Royal fashion experts say the Tasmanian-born future Queen of Denmark is channelling Kate Middleton’s style in the shot — wearing a dress by the Duchess of Cambridge’s go-to designer, Jenny Packham.
Mary is seen wearing the Georgia gown from the AW19 Collection, featuring crystal floral embellishments and rose pink sequins hand-sewn on tulle.
The release of the image comes after other milestone birthday tributes for Princess Mary including the release of a special stamp in her honour.
In the stamp image, she is wearing the traditional Greenland national costume.
Proceeds from the sale of the stamp will go to the Dandelion Centre in Greenland’s capital Nuuk.
The centre provides an activity space for children and youths and a 24-hour crisis service for socially disadvantaged children aged three to 11.
Princess Mary‘s birthday was on Saturday, with new royal family pictures also published on Instagram to mark the occasion after the family marked the event with a private celebration at Frederik VIII’s Palace.
Princess Mary also fed penguins and planted a gum tree on a groundbreaking family visit to Copenhagen Zoo last week.
Her Royal Highness is patron of the Copenhagen Zoo and visited the site with 11-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine to turn the first sod at Mary’s Australian Garden.
The new facility will house animal species from her homeland.
The area will consist of a newly constructed aviary together with the existing kangaroo facility and facility for Tasmanian devils.

Crown Princess Mary has launched a new stamp to commemorate the milestone.
According to an Instagram post from the official account of the Danish Royal House, proceeds from the stamp will fund a worthy cause.
“Wearing the traditional Greenland national costume, Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess, on the occasion of her 50th birthday, is the motif on a new stamp, which will be issued tomorrow by the Greenland telecommunications and postal company, Tusass,” an English translation of the Danish-language social media post reads.
“At the request of Her Royal Highness, the total added value goes from the sale of the stamp to the Dandelion Center in (Greenland’s capital) Nuuk.”
The centre provides an activity space for children and youths, and a 24-hour crisis service for socially disadvantaged people aged three-11.

Her Royal Highness, who reaches the birthday milestone on Saturday, is patron of the Copenhagen Zoo and visited the site with 11-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine to turn the first sod at “Mary’s Australian Garden”.
To a song from the Royal Danish Academy of Music’s Children’s Choir, Tasmanian born Princess Mary arrived at the new, green facility, which will house animal species from her homeland.
The area will consist of a newly constructed aviary together with the existing kangaroo facility and facility for Tasmanian devils.
The Danish Palace said her turning of the first sod represented the start of the third and final part of “Mary’s Australian Garden” and the first step in the execution of the Zoo’s master plan which will bring significant improvements to animal facilities in coming years.
The facility will provide more space for current and new species such as the kookaburra, rock wallabies and cockatoos.
The changes will also allow visitors to get even closer to the animals and the daily work of zookeepers.
Princess Mary looked elegant in a navy checked coat from British retailer, Hobb and a fedora-style hat.
The Danish royal court has also shared some stunning new portraits of Crown Princess Mary with her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, ahead of her milestone birthday.
