Woman dead after two-car crash at Meadows in the Adelaide Hills

A woman has died after a horror two-car crash in the Adelaide Hills yesterday afternoon.

A woman has died in hospital after a two-car crash in the Adelaide Hills on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to Dashwood Gully Rd just after 3.30pm after the crash between a Suzuki sedan and Hyundai sedan.

The 76-year-old driver of the Suzuki was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries but she died in hospital on Wednesday.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 68-year-old, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Dashwood Gully Rd was closed between Brookman Rd and Ellis Rd but has since reopened.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The woman’s death is the 70th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
