Emergency services were called to Nelson Rd after being alerted to the incident at 3.45am.
It is understood the group of offenders forced entry into the home and stabbed two occupants, – after which they escaped arrest by jumping into a vehicle and turning on to Yulinda Terrace.
A 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds. A third person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after being assaulted.
Police say it is early in the investigation but they do not believe this to be a random incident.
