Commuters heading to the city from Adelaide’s north were caught up in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Thursday morning after a multi-car smash on a main motorway.

Police warned motorists traveling on the city-bound lanes of the North South Motorway to expect delays after a crash at Dry Creek on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were alerted to the multi-car crash just before 7.50am,

Police reported there were no serious injuries but traffic was at a crawl.
