The Advertiser and Sunday Mail apologises to readers for delayed delivery of the Sunday Mail in some areas due to mechanical issues at our printing plant overnight.

To compensate for the inconvenience, the digital print edition of the paper, accessible on The Advertiser app or at advertiser.com.au, has been made available free of charge today.

All the papers have been printed and are being delivered to as many homes and retailers as we can manage, within driver fatigue guidelines.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience to our subscribers and retail customers.

We value all our readers enormously and deeply regret that mechanical issues at our press two Saturdays in a row have caused delivery delays.

We are doing everything we can to get the paper to our readers and ensure the problem does not recur.
