Police are on the hunt for a knife-wielding teen following a service station robbery in the northeastern suburbs

Authorities are asking witnesses to come forward as a knife-wielding teen is on the loose following a robbery at a northeastern suburbs service station.

Police are on the hunt for an armed teenager who entered a service station and threatened staff in Adelaide’s northeast on Saturday night.

The teen with a knife entered a service station on Wright Rd at Valley View about 8.30pm.

He stole cash before fleeing the premises and was last seen walking on Wright Rd.

No one was physically injured during the confrontation.

The suspect is described as being aged in his late teens, about 175cm tall with a medium build and wearing black clothing.

Patrols searched the area for the teen but were unable to locate him.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
