Police say Christmas Eve blaze in Unley is suspicious, investigations ongoing

Police believe the cause of a Christmas Eve fire at a home in Adelaide’s inner southern suburbs could be suspicious.

Just before 7pm on Tuesday evening, police and fire crews were called to a home on Arthur St in Unley after reports a brush fence was on fire.

Crews including two vehicles and eight firefighters attended the scene.

MFS crews extinguished the fire but it caused damage to the fence, front garden and patio – there were no injuries.

SA Police crime scene investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation, and although the cause of the blaze is currently unknown, it is believed to be suspicious.
