Man missing after falling into waters at Browns Beach, Innes National Park overnight

Emergency services have been searching for a man after his mates saw him fall into the water at a South Australian tourist beach overnight.

A man has gone missing at a popular beach in the Yorke Peninsula, with the police helicopter unable to locate him overnight.

Emergency services were called to Browns Beach in Innes National Park at 8pm on Saturday evening after reports of a missing person.

Police said he was fishing with friends when they saw him fall into the water.

He was last seen wearing a dark-red T-shirt and dark shorts.

Police, including PolAir and water operations, are working with park rangers to search the area.

The search resumed on Sunday morning, with divers called in to help.
