A security guard has been stabbed at a bus interchange hours after a teen was stabbed at Elizabeth Shopping Centre

Just hours after a teen was stabbed at Elizabeth Shopping Centre, a security guard has also been wounded at a nearby bus interchange.

Just hours after a teenager was stabbed at Elizabeth Shopping Centre, police and emergency services were called to the nearby bus interchange for another stabbing incident.

Several officers were interviewing commuters on Wednesday evening after witnesses told The Advertiser they believe a security guard was stabbed at the Elizabeth Bus Interchange.

One commuter who saw the victim being loaded into an ambulance said he was “bleeding from the arm.”

The Advertiser understands that the two stabbing incidents are not linked.
