All Sunshine Coast and Caboolture train lines are suspended in both directions after a major traffic incident this afternoon.

ALL Sunshine Coast and Caboolture train lines are suspended in both directions after a car hit a rail bridge at Morayfield station.

Translink have advised travellers that lines are suspended between Burpengary and Caboolture stations and delays up to 30 minutes can be expected.

It comes after Queensland Rail rolled out 430 extra weekly services across the southeast Queensland network from today.
